Lucky Pet at Home Pet Services provides a wide variety of services for all pets and animals ranging from goldfish to horses .... and beyond. We quickly realized that Pet Parents needed help with anything that comes up in the course of a day when taking care of their Pet Children. Now, you will never have to worry about your pets when you are not able to be there.
Below is a description of our Basic Services. For other specialized services, please click on a button above to go to the page for the services you are interested in or give us a call. If you don't see a service you need, please give us a call to see if we can help.
Visit - Initial Consultation15-Minute New Puppy/Frequent Visit - Usually every 3-4 hours
Package Pickup ONLY
- Meet client and pets and pick up keys and paperwork
- See where pet supplies are kept, where pets sleep, and review pet's routine
- Answer any questions by client
- Usually two Pet Care Providers assigned to each client so there is always a backup and both will be at the Initial Visit
- Initial Visit will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour
Visit - Potty Break - 15-Minute (Dogs)
- Potty Break only
- Give fresh water and put down food, if needed
Visit - 30-Minute (Dogs)
- AM/PM Visits - Feed and give fresh water
- Clean food and water dishes
- Potty break - Short walk, if needed and time permitting
- Play time
- Midday / Afternoon Visits - 15- to 20-minute walk (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- Clean water dish and give fresh water
- Potty break
Visit - 45-Minute (Dogs)
- AM/PM Visits - Feed and give fresh water
- Clean food and water dishes
- Potty break - Short walk, if needed and time permitting
- 10- to 15-minute Play time
- Midday / Afternoon Visit - 15- to 20-minute walk (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- 10- to 15-minute Play time

Visit - 1-Hour (Dogs)

- 20- to 30-minute Play time
- Midday / Afternoon Visit - 20- to 25-minute walk (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- 15- to 20-minute Play time
- Clean water dish and give fresh water
- Potty break - Short walk, if needed and time permitting (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- Potty Breaks designed for those with a puppy or other dog that needs frequent potty breaks who need to go out every 4 hours or less
- Potty break only

Evening Walk ONLY (Dogs)
- Home from work and really would like to relax? Been on your feet all day? Don't want to get out in the weather? Let us come take your dog for a walk
- Evening or Nite Visit ONLY
- Typically intended for when client is home and just needs someone to come by to give the dogs an evening walk
- 15- to 20-minute walk (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- No other services provided
Nail Trim - DOG
- Trim and smooth nails as tolerated
- May take more than one visit depending on the demeanor of the pet or any underlying medical conditions
- Trim hair on paws

15-Minute Visit For Cats and Critters
- For those who have cats or small animals, fish, reptiles, etc.

30-Minute Visit For Cats and Critters
- For those who have social cats or small animals, reptiles, etc. that want or need extra loving and social time
- Feed and water
- Clean food and water dishes
- Scoop and/or clean litter/cage/crate
- Playtime and brushing
Hotel Visit - 30-Minute
- Visit for Hotel, RV Park or BnB guests.
- Feed, if necessary, and give fresh water
- Clean food and water dishes
- Potty break - Short walk, if needed and time permitting (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- Play time
- 15- to 20-minute walk (weather permitting - please see our weather policy)
Hotel Visit - 60-Minute
- Visit for Hotel, RV Park or BnB guests.
- Feed, if necessary, and give fresh water
- Clean food and water dishes
- Potty break - Short walk, if needed and time permitting (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- Play time
- 20- to 25-minute walk total time (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- Pick up packages or deliveries from outside home and place them securely inside the home
- Notification to client that packages have been secured
- Service can be with or without pets present (if pets present, we must have already met them or packages must be put in a room away from the pets)
Supplies Delivery
- For those times when you can't or just don't feel like getting out but your pet is out of food, treats, litter or medicines
- Pick up from store and deliver directly to your home or business (some weight limits may apply)
- Arrangements must be made with Lucky Pet or the store for payment
- Must CALL Lucky Pet to arrange for this service
Snow Shoveling
- Service can be performed with or without pets in the home
- Snow removal from sidewalks, driveways (limitations may apply), porches, patios and deck stairs with a pet-safe snow melt applied as needed
- Services can be performed in conjunction with scheduled pet visits, if possible
- Sidewalks shoveled within 24 hours of end of snow fall, porches and deck stairs shoveled as needed, patios and driveways shoveled as soon as they can be scheduled
Other Available Services
- Pet Medication Administration -- when you need help giving your pet their meds (Click on "Sick & Elder / Hospice" button above)
- Pet Taxi / Transportation Service -- to the vet, groomer, daycare or the airport (Click on the "Pet Taxi / Transport" button above)
- Poop Scooping Service -- cleaning the back yard or dog runs or taking care of litter boxes in the house (Click on the "Poop Scooping" button above)
- House Sitting -- taking care of your house for a day, a week, a month or longer (Click on the "House Sitting" button above)
Business Services
- Care for pets who live or stay at a business -- walks, feeding, potty breaks
- Supplies Delivery -- for that pampered office pet when business gets crazy and you don't have time to pick up food, litter, etc
"Home for Sale" Visit and Walk
- Designed for pet owners who are in the process of selling their home and need someone, usually on short notice, to arrive before the prospective buyer or realtor
- Last-minute scheduling
- 45- to 60-minute visit/walk while home is shown or keeping pet entertained and away from prospective buyers (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- For cats - making sure cat is contained while house is shown
- Area where cat hangs out is picked up
- Litter box scooped and clean smelling (client responsible for supplies)
- Make sure all pet toys and supplies are picked up and put away or stacked neatly in specific area
- Feed pets, if necessary
- Fresh water for pet
- Clean food and water bowl
Overnight Visit
- 12-hour (approximately) overnight visit from about 8pm to 8am
- Feed dinner when arrive around 8pm, if needed, and give fresh water
- Feed breakfast and give fresh water before leaving
- Water plants, if needed
- Bring in mail, newspaper, packages, if applicable
- Clean food and water dishes
- Potty breaks - Short walk, if needed and time permitting (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- Play time

- Includes up to 12 additional daytime hours

- Play time
- Two or three 30-minute walks (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
Extended Stay - Overnight w/ Same Night Dinner Visit
- 12-hour (approximately) overnight visit from about 8pm to 8am next morning, includes feeding breakfast
- Includes a 30-minute PM (usually around 4:30pm - 5:00pm) visit to feed pets supper, take for short walk (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy), play. etc.
- Feed breakfast and give fresh water before leaving
- Water plants, if needed
- Bring in mail, newspaper, packages, if applicable
- Clean food an water dishes
- Potty breaks - Short walk, if needed and time permitting (weather permitting - please see our Weather Policy)
- Play time
"Around the Clock + 15" - Overnight w/ Two 15-Minute Same Day Visits
- 12-hour (approximately) Overnight Visit from about 8pm to 8am next morning, includes feeding breakfast
- Includes two 15-minute visits (usually Midday and Afternoon or early Evening) to give pets a couple of potty breaks before the Overnight Visit
- Feed breakfast and give fresh water before leaving
- Water plants, if needed
- Bring in mail, newspaper, packages, if applicable

- Play time
"Around the Clock + 30" - Overnight w/Two 30-Minute Same Day Visits
- 12-hour (approximately) Overnight Visit from about 8pm to 8am next morning, includes feeding breakfast
- Includes two 30-minute visits (usually Midday and Afternoon or early Evening) to give pets a couple of visits before the Overnight Visit
- Feed breakfast and give fresh water before leaving
- Water plants, if needed

24-Hour Come and Go Visit (Up to 12 Hours Day + Overnight)
- Includes Overnight Visit (about 8pm to 8am)

- Pet Service Provider comes and goes throughout day to take care of other pet visits, etc but will be based out of client's home - similar routine to what client would have
